Spotlighted Middletown graduates

Danielle Huntsberger

Danielle Huntsberger, 16, was determined to graduate from high school and receive her diploma before her baby was born.

She left Franklin High School early in her pregnancy and enrolled in Life Skills in October 2006.

During her time at Life Skills she was driven to accomplish her goal and worked hard until she had completed her academic requirements.

Kellilee Mosley

Kellilee Mosley, 21, had her daughter Lauryn when she was 17 years old.

When Lauryn was 3 months old she became sick and Kellilee had to leave Middletown High School in order to take care of her baby.

She tried online classes and then enrolled in Life Skills.

Eventually, she left Life Skills.

She re-enrolled in February 2006 needing only one class to graduate.

She was determined that this time she was graduating.

Kellilee received her diploma on June 15 and has hopes of getting a full-time job and taking some college classes.

Her dream is to one day open her own catering/bakery business.
