Life Skills Center of Lake Erie school store doing well

School administrator Joe Czerwien said the school store has done well since it first opened in October.

"The products have been selling well," Czerwien said. "We've expanded our items to include Hot Pockets. We're offering a service that's not overpriced for our students."

The store offers a mix of healthy snacks as well as candy and pop.

The administrator said although the school is still working on volunteers and the best hours of operation, students have embraced the store.

"It's been well-received," he said. "The kids have really enjoyed it."
